Christie's Photographic is a Preferred Event Photographer at most locations thoughout Orlando and Central Florida works with a variety of corporations.


Bob Christie – President

Bob started Christie’s Photographic in 1983. By 1986, he turned his sights onto the convention and meetings business and has never looked back. With a team of over 75 professionals, Christie’s photographs over 6500 events a year, almost all on a deadline for publication. He currently resides in Oakland, Florida with the love of his life, Lisa, and their furry, four-legged child. When not managing or working with clients, he loves to garden and participate in offshore ocean racing, with his team having won the world championship in 2006. His newest passion is road racing.


Keith Thrash – General Manager

Christie’s General Manager Keith Thrash began his lifetime career in photography at a young age, creating a darkroom with his grandfather’s equipment in the 6th grade. With no enlarger at the time, he used a lightbulb and switch to make contact sheets. He continued developing his skills through college, where he earned a degree from the Ohio Institute of Photography in 1979. After answering an ad for a woman named Christie offering a photographer position in 1988, Keith began working with Bob Christie and learned a valuable lesson in last names. When not managing or photographing events, Keith likes to see how many golf balls he can lose in one round or spends his time fishing.


Dawn Owen – Assistant General Manager

Dawn started her career in the Hotel Industry and learned of her passion for dealing with customers.  She joined the Christie’s team in 1998 as an administrative assistant and has been promoted through the years to her current position of Assistant General Manager.  Exceeding client satisfaction is her primary goal.  Outside of the office, she and her husband enjoy competing in the sport of Cowboy Action and you’ll find her at the gun range most weekends.


Angie Padrones – Las Vegas Branch Manager

Angie is an island girl! She grew up on the island of Guam and relocated to Las Vegas in 2010 to further her education. Angie has a background in office administration and a deep interest in photography. She enjoys snapping loads of personal photos when she gets the chance. Angie has worked in the wedding photography industry for 4 years and is now expanding her knowledge as part of Christie’s administration team in assisting to create fun and interactive corporate events. On her free time she tries to spend it outdoors in the sun! She also enjoys reading, writing, and just being adventurous. If you ask, people would say she’s funny, outgoing, and loves to dance.


Yossi May- Washington DC Branch Manager

Yossi May began his photography career over 15 years ago, studying the fundamentals of film photography from one of the DC area’s premier portrait photographers.  He realized he had found his passion, and decided to attend Indiana University, where he studied photojournalism and business. While working with the school newspaper as a photographer and editor, Yossi won multiple awards. Since graduation, he has photographed social and corporate events. In January of 2015, Yossi joined Christie’s and serves as the DC Regional Manager. When he isn’t shooting, Yossi loves watching Indiana Hoosier basketball, The Washington Redskins, playing soccer and skiing. He has been an athlete his entire life, which helps him maintain high energy while running around photographing long days.


Dean Milenkovic – Graphics and Editing Department Supervisor

Dean is a self-taught graphic designer with over a decade of photo tinkering and manipulation experience. His favorite projects are those in the realm of stock photography, advertising, and image retouching and composites. Working at Christie’s for nearly 2 years now, Dean keeps Christie’s up to date with new technology as it comes out. He is an avid street soccer player and he lives by a motto that you only need a ball. Dean lives with his gorgeous wife and the most photographed Labrador Retrievers in history.


Cathy Mortenson – Senior Editor

With over 40 years of experience in the photography industry, Cathy takes part in a vital but more “behind the scenes” role as Editor for Christie’s. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in both English Literature and Photography from the University of Central Florida, and holds a strong passion for digital media and photography. With Christie’s constantly remaining on the cutting edge, her deep understanding of photography have kept her an integral part of the team. She has been a part of the team for 10 years, and spends most of her free time exploring outdoors.


Marc Auster

Marc began studying photography in high school, and continued his photography focus in college.  He was awarded with a Bachelor in Science from the State University New York in Stonybrook.  Marc has also completed courses on processing and printing photos, and previously worked in photo processing.  He began working in photography at Christie’s in 1995, and has been one of the main office’s Senior Staff Photographers since 2005.


Mark Loyack

Mark began his professional shooting career over 29 years ago, starting by covering a wedding while still attending high school.  He continued developing his skills as he attended both Seminole and Valencia Community College to study photography.  Mark worked at a large school photography company for 15 years, and also started his own digital photography studio in 1992 where he focused on weddings, portraits,
commercial, sport, and event photos. In 1998, Mark joined the Christie’s team, and currently works as one of the main office’s Senior Staff Photographers.


Emily Christie

Beginning with her first job in customer service, Emily has maintained a desire to improve service quality to provide customers with a consistent, positive experience. After working in the Quality Assurance field, Emily began her role at Christie’s in early 2015, with her duties ranging from contract and technical writing to process improvement and onsite event work. Three years ago, Emily began a food blog to encourage her to boost her cooking skills, and has since fallen in love with baking. She is a self-described cat lady with a desire to support animal welfare and a diehard Miami Dolphins fan.


Michelle Granger

Working with Christie’s for just about three years, Michelle can be found both in the office and onsite working with clients.  Prior to working with Christie’s, Michelle traveled the country teaching at Scrapbook Conventions and Expos, where she incorporated her love for both crafts and photography in what her daughter called a “Jobby”.  Transitioning to the Event Photography business was a natural progression when she decided that she didn’t want to travel as much. Married to her high school sweetheart with two teenage daughters, Michelle is constantly on the go however in her free time enjoys live music, the beach and time with friends.

Melissa Vincent

Melissa brings a wealth of experience and charisma to Christie’s. Beginning her career as a bartender, she has always interacted with customers and delivered a positive experience. She has been with the company since 2011, serving in both administative and billing functions and assisting in events. She is a true Floridian, loving every moment she can out in the sun, going swimming or boating. She is also a wine fan, and has even dabbled in homemade beer making!
