With nearly four decades of experience and a reputation for technical excellence, Mark’s story is a testament to the craft of professional event photography at its highest level.
From photographing NASCAR to refining executive portraits with surgical precision, Mark brings not only mastery behind the lens but also a steady editorial hand that ensures our clients look and feel extraordinary in every frame.
A Lifelong Calling, Not Just a Career
Some careers are discovered. Others are decided. For Mark Loyack, the decision came early.
At just 16, he accepted his first paid photography job: $200 to shoot a wedding in his hometown. While others were considering weekend jobs, Mark was already delivering images that captured life’s most important memories. He never looked back.
By 19, Mark had turned his passion into a full-time pursuit. He joined Bryn-Alan Studios, where he spent the next 14 years mastering the art of senior portraiture. Those years refined his eye, his patience, and his ability to make people comfortable in front of a lens. A gift that still defines his work today.
After leaving the studio world, Mark co-founded one of Orlando’s earliest digital commercial photography firms. While the business was ahead of its time, both partners eventually followed different creative paths. Mark’s next led to speed, spectacle, and split-second timing: photographing NASCAR at Daytona and Chicagoland Speedways for six adrenaline-fueled seasons.
A Return to Craft—and to Christie’s
Although Mark freelanced with Christie’s Photographic Solutions off and on for years, it wasn’t until 13 years ago that he officially joined the team full-time. “It took a couple of tries,” he admits with a smile, “but eventually I said yes, and I’m glad I did.”
Today, Mark serves as Photography Manager and Editing Director, overseeing visual standards across hundreds of events each year. Whether directing large-scale photography teams or teaching the craft of capturing keynote speaker in action, Mark ensures that every image we provide meets the gold standard of clarity, consistency, and elegance.

Beyond the Lens: A Taste for the Good Life
Outside of photography, Mark is a family man with a deep appreciation for nature, food, and craft. He enjoys camping along the Crystal and Homosassa Rivers, especially during scallop season. He’s also known around the office for his culinary talents. Especially his blackberry, brown sugar, apricot BBQ pork belly burnt ends, a family favorite and frequent request at gatherings.
A long-time boating enthusiast, Mark recently said goodbye to his Super Air Nautique after it was lost in a hurricane. While he hasn’t decided what vessel will replace it just yet, one thing is certain: when he finds the right boat, it’ll be built for quality, not just speed.
There’s a certain symmetry in that. Mark brings the same patience and care to his personal life that he brings to his work at Christie’s Photographic Solutions: thoughtful, intentional, and always executed with pride.
