The Early Journey: How Jamie Capo Joined Christie’s Photographic Solutions
Jamie’s creative story started with a gift—a camera from her uncle. At first, it was just a casual interest. But over time, photography became a real passion.
She originally enrolled in university to study forensic science. However, the creative pull of photography became stronger than any lab work. Jamie switched majors and began studying photography full time, pairing it with a minor in graphic design.
She eventually served as vice president of her university’s Photography Association. After graduation, she taught photography to grade school students and honed her skills in fast-paced wedding environments. All of this led her to her current role at Christie’s Photographic Solutions.

As a graphics designer and photo editor, Jamie works mostly in post-production. She enhances images from events nationwide and creates branded visual elements for client galleries.
She also supports iLite events, our roaming mobile photobooth and even taking photos when needed. Whether editing or designing, Jamie helps deliver high-impact visuals.
What Fuels Her Creativity Outside the Office
Jamie’s free time is filled with inspiration. She enjoys writing, reading, road trips, and thrifting. On a work trip to Seattle, she stumbled upon a hidden hiking trail—exactly the kind of off-the-beaten-path gem she loves to explore.
She also gardens, plays casual adventure video games, and curates a home full of vintage finds. At the heart of that home is her parrotlet, Pixie—a tiny but bold companion with a huge personality.
